Trip Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arusha → Tarangire National Park → Karatu

    Depart early from Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Your morning game drive explores the park’s savannahs, river valleys, and woodlands, where giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and numerous bird species roam freely.

    After a scenic picnic lunch, continue your afternoon game drive in search of lions, leopards, and other predators that inhabit Tarangire’s riverine areas. Later, you will drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at your lodge, enjoying the serene highland environment.

    After breakfast, drive towards the Serengeti National Park, passing through the picturesque Ngorongoro Highlands. Upon entering the Serengeti, begin your afternoon game drive in one of the world’s most famous wildlife destinations. Lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest roam freely across the golden plains.

    As the sun sets over the endless savannah, check in at your lodge or tented camp, where you can relax and prepare for a full day of exploration in the Serengeti.

    In the late afternoon, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy the scenic drive through highlands as you transition from the open plains to crater rim forests. Arrive at your lodge near the crater rim or Karatu for dinner and overnight.

    Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint before ascending the crater walls and returning to Arusha. Your 4-day safari concludes with memories of Tanzania’s iconic wildlife and breathtaking landscapes.

    Accommodation on the final day of the tour is not included in the standard package. Clients who wish to stay overnight can request arrangements in advance.
