Terms and conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings made with Nayla African Safaris (“we,” “us,” “our”). By confirming a reservation, you (“the client,” “you”) agree to be bound by the policies below. Please read them carefully.
1. Booking & Reservations
  • A booking is confirmed once we receive a deposit payment as indicated in your invoice.

  • The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before arrival, unless otherwise stated.

  • Bookings made within 30 days of travel require full payment immediately.

2. Payments

We accept:

  • Bank transfers

  • Credit or debit cards

  • Mobile payments (where applicable)

All bank charges must be covered by the client.
Prices are quoted in USD unless stated otherwise.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

By the Client

  • 90+ days before travel: Full refund minus transaction fees.

  • 60–89 days before travel: 25% cancellation fee.

  • 31–59 days before travel: 50% cancellation fee.

  • 0–30 days before travel: No refund.

Some services (hotels, flights, permits, park fees) are non-refundable once booked. This will be communicated clearly during planning.

By the Company

We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to:

  • Safety concerns

  • Unforeseen events

  • Failure to receive final payment

In such cases, a full refund will be issued, except for non-refundable third-party costs.

4. Amendments to Itineraries

We may adjust routes, accommodations, or activities due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Park regulations

  • Safety issues

  • Availability changes

Where possible, we will offer an equal or better alternative.

5. Travel Insurance

All travelers are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including:

  • Medical coverage

  • Trip cancellation

  • Emergency evacuation

  • Loss or damage to luggage

We are not responsible for costs arising from uninsured situations.

6. Health & Safety

Clients must:

  • Inform us of any medical conditions or dietary restrictions

  • Follow guide instructions at all times

  • Observe park rules and wildlife safety guidelines

We cannot be held liable for injuries caused by ignoring safety instructions.

7. Visa Requirements

Clients are responsible for:

  • Obtaining valid visas

  • Meeting passport requirements

  • Ensuring all travel documents are in order

We can provide assistance but are not responsible for denied entry.

8. Liability & Responsibility

Nayla African Safaris is not liable for:

  • Loss, damage, or injury caused by third-party providers

  • Delays or cancellations due to weather, strikes, or government actions

  • Loss of personal belongings

We commit to delivering services with reasonable care and skill.

9. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for events beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters

  • Epidemics or pandemics

  • Political unrest

  • Flight disruptions

  • Acts of God

Refunds or rescheduling will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

10. Complaints

If you experience an issue during your trip:

  • Inform your guide or our office immediately

  • We will take reasonable steps to resolve it promptly

Complaints made after the trip will be reviewed carefully but may be harder to investigate.

11. Governing Law

All bookings are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
Any disputes shall be settled in Tanzanian courts.

12. Acceptance of Terms

By paying the deposit, you agree to these Terms & Conditions as part of your safari contract with Nayla African Safaris.
